Jeter

every take has a receipt

A production tracker for AI video, from the script to the last rejected take.

The problem it solves

Making a short film with AI tools produces an astonishing amount of stuff. Scripts, reference sheets, voice lines, a dozen takes of every shot, and a bill that arrives one small charge at a time from four different providers. After the second project it was clear that the hard part was not generating anything. It was remembering what had been generated, which version was the keeper, and what it had all cost.

Jeter is the answer to "where is that take, and what did it cost?" for every video project from now on, whether it is a mockumentary, a thirty-second commercial, or the demo for one of the apps on this page.

What it does

Everything is a show, with seasons, episodes and scenes. An episode can be a full episode, a commercial, a trailer, a making-of, or an app demo. A commercial is just a very short episode. Each scene holds its dialogue, its timeline beats and its media, and a microphone button on any line of dialogue generates the voice take.

The ledger is the point. Every generation call writes one line, before anyone has looked at the result, so the rejected takes count too. Spend rolls up by beat, scene, episode and show, and every file gets a sidecar recording the engine, the seed, the prompt and the price. Nothing is ever truly deleted: every save makes a backup first, deletes go to the trash, and there is an undo.

A shared cast of synthetic actors, each with a face, reference sheets, an intro video and a voice, can be cast into any show. The images themselves come from Rendon. Jeter keeps the books.

Demo later

Demo video planned Jeter already holds the Posey and Jigger demos as shows. Its own demo will be the first one it produces about itself.
